Young geotechnical engineers who are members of IGS or IGS Delhi Chapter (age not more than 35 years as of 31.3.2011) are invited to send extended abstracts of their papers not exceeding 500 words by e-mail to 3iygec@gmail.com.
The papers may have joint authorship with a senior; however the same has to be presented by only the young engineer.
The abstract should be neatly typed in Times New Roman (font 11) on A-4 size paper and sent to the Organizing Secretary so as to reach him on or before 31st Dec. 2010. Two hard copies of the abstract shall be accompanied by the following :
- Age proof of the Young Geotechnical Engineer
- Membership number of IGS / IGS Delhi Chapter.
The hard copies shall be sent to Dr. R. Ayothiraman, IIT Delhi.
Authors of papers whose abstracts are selected for presentation will be intimated by 25th Jan. 2011 for preparing the full-length paper. Instructions for the preparation of paper will also be sent along with the intimation.
Full-length papers should reach the organizing committee on or before 15th February 2011. Papers received after the scheduled date may not be considered for publication in the conference proceedings.
